**Kozhikode, Kerala – December 10, 2024** – The body of a newborn baby was discovered in the Nellyadi Kadavu river near Koyilandy, Kozhikode district, Kerala, early Tuesday morning. Fishermen reportedly found the body around 1:30 AM. The umbilical cord was still attached. Police and fire and rescue services were immediately notified and transported the body to the taluk hospital. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the infant’s death is underway.
