**Mumbai, India –** A BEST bus driver has been arrested following a devastating accident in Kurla, Mumbai, that killed seven people and injured 49 others on Monday night. Police say the driver, identified as Sanjay More, lost control of the bus, crashing into at least 22 vehicles, including a police van, before finally coming to a stop after hitting a wall.

The incident occurred around 9:30 pm near Anjuman-E-Islam School in Kurla West. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone V) Ganesh Gawade, the bus, traveling from Kurla station to Andheri, plowed into a series of vehicles – autorickshaws, two-wheelers, handcarts, and cars.
