**Shivamogga, Karnataka – December 10, 2024** – Residents of Kudumallige village in Tirthahalli taluk held a condolence meeting today to honor former Karnataka Chief Minister S.M. Krishna, who passed away in Bengaluru earlier this morning. Mr. Krishna’s wife, Prema, hails from Kudumallige, and her family members travelled to Bengaluru upon learning of his death.

The village displayed a portrait of Mr. Krishna and residents gathered to remember his contributions to the state and his frequent visits to the village since his marriage to Prema in 1966. Among those in attendance were Begulvalli Sathish, Ramesh Shetty, and Anjur Kudumallige.
