**Mysuru, Karnataka, December 10, 2024** – The JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) in Mysuru and the Centre for Science and Technology of the Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries (NAM S&T Centre) in New Delhi have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening their commitment to international scientific collaboration.
The renewed agreement, signed at JSS AHER, builds upon a successful partnership initiated in 2021. According to a press release, the collaboration has yielded significant achievements, including the publication of a book on water management, two fact files on rare diseases and birth defects, and the establishment of the NAM S&T – JSS AHER Fellowship. This fellowship has supported researchers from seven countries in conducting advanced scientific studies at JSS AHER. The partnership has also resulted in five joint scientific publications, two collaborative research projects, and two international workshops.
JSS AHER Pro-Chancellor B. Suresh highlighted the substantial progress made since the initial MoU, emphasizing the collaboration’s positive global impact on the scientific community. Both institutions expressed their dedication to continued excellence in scientific innovation and education, aiming to make transformative contributions to the global scientific landscape.
