**Bhubaneswar, Odisha –** The Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF), a prominent literary and cultural event, will hold its 11th edition from March 21st to 23rd, 2025, in Bhubaneswar. The three-day festival, taking place at Mayfair Lagoon, Kala Bhoomi, and Guru Kelu Charan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre, promises a diverse program featuring over 500 speakers, including Nobel laureates, Booker Prize winners, and Sahitya Akademi awardees.

This year’s KLF will explore a wide range of topics, from cultural nationalism and gender identity to artificial intelligence, global crises, and the ethics of technology. In addition to insightful discussions, the festival will host a Kalinga Art Festival showcasing over 100 artists, and the prestigious Kalinga Literary Awards will honor literary icons. A “Book Awards Festival” will also launch in Delhi as a curtain-raiser.

Beyond the main events, attendees can participate in Mystic Walks, Heritage Tours, and cultural performances, immersing themselves in Bhubaneswar’s rich heritage. The festival aims to connect India’s regional voices with global literary and cultural hubs, fostering dialogues on democracy, sustainability, and diversity. It also provides a platform for emerging talent to interact with established figures in the literary and artistic worlds.

Founder-Director Rashmi Ranjan Parida described the KLF as “a movement that celebrates the transformative power of literature,” while Patron and CEO Ashok Kumar Bal highlighted the festival’s role in showcasing the relevance of India’s historical narratives on the global stage. With previous events in Kathmandu and future plans for Colombo and Bali, the KLF continues to expand its global reach. Since its inception in 2013, the festival has hosted over 4,000 speakers and performers, solidifying its position as a significant player in India’s literary and cultural landscape.
