**Dhaka, Bangladesh** – West Indies cricketers Jayden Seales and Kevin Sinclair have been fined by the International Cricket Council (ICC) following their team’s 1-1 draw against Bangladesh in a two-match Test series.

Seales was fined 25% of his match fee and received one demerit point for breaching Article 2.3 of the ICC Code of Conduct, relating to “conduct contrary to the spirit of the game.” The incident involved aggressive gestures directed towards the Bangladesh dressing room after taking a wicket. This was Seales’ first offense in a 24-month period.

Sinclair, who wasn’t even in the playing XI, was fined 15% of his match fee for breaching Article 2.1.7 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which pertains to ignoring umpire warnings and engaging in excessive sledging.

Both players admitted to their offenses and accepted the sanctions proposed by Match Referee Jeff Crowe, avoiding a formal hearing.

The second Test, won by Bangladesh by 101 runs, saw a dramatic turnaround after the West Indies’ emphatic victory in the first match by 201 runs. Bangladesh’s win leveled the series.
