**Rawalpindi:** Hussain Talat’s electrifying century spearheaded the Stallions to a convincing 35-run victory over the Panthers in the second match of the Champions T20 Cup. Batting first, the Stallions amassed a formidable 216/3, largely thanks to Talat’s unbeaten 101 off just 50 balls, a knock studded with 12 fours and three sixes. Captain Mohammad Haris also provided significant support with a 55-run contribution.
The Panthers, in pursuit of 217, fought valiantly but ultimately fell short, finishing their innings on 181 all out in 19.1 overs. Haider Ali’s 54 off 26 balls offered a glimmer of hope, but the Stallions’ bowling attack, led by Mohammad Ali and Usman Tariq (three wickets each), proved too strong. Talat even contributed a wicket to his already impressive performance, earning him the Player of the Match award. Mohammad Ibtisam was the Panthers’ best bowler, taking two wickets for 36 runs.
