Hyderabad: A bitter family feud within the Manchu family, a prominent Tollywood clan, has taken a dramatic turn. On Sunday, veteran actor Mohan Babu and his son, Manchu Manoj, filed police complaints against each other amidst a property dispute. The conflict intensified later that evening when Manchu Manoj was admitted to TX Hospital in Banjara Hills in a reportedly distressed state, accompanied by his wife. He received emergency treatment and was later discharged to his residence in Jubilee Hills.
Adding fuel to the fire, reports suggest that Manchu Vishnu’s business partner, Vijay, visited Manoj’s residence and allegedly removed a hard disk containing CCTV footage. Further, claims emerged of Vishnu’s associates conducting surveillance around Manoj’s home, prompting Manoj to hire private security. Manchu Vishnu, who recently returned from Dubai, is reportedly planning to meet Manoj shortly.
