**Patna, Bihar:** Prominent education YouTuber and tutor Khan Sir was hospitalized in Patna after his health deteriorated during protests against changes to the upcoming 70th Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Preliminary Examination. Videos circulating online show Khan Sir’s condition worsening during the demonstration, leading to his admission with dehydration and fever.

Rumors of Khan Sir’s arrest spread on social media, but Bihar Police vehemently denied these claims. SDPO Anu Kumari clarified that Khan Sir visited the Gardani Bagh police station voluntarily to show solidarity with detained protesters. He was subsequently dropped off near his car, not under arrest.

Khan Sir’s hospitalization follows a lathi-charge by police on protesters who were demonstrating against changes to the BPSC exam rules and demanding the exam date be extended due to technical application issues. The police action resulted in several arrests, including student leader Dilip Kumar. While eyewitnesses reported injuries among protesters, officials denied these claims.

Khan Sir had specifically requested that the BPSC chairman publicly rule out a “normalization process” for the exam, a demand the commission addressed on Saturday by confirming the exam would proceed as scheduled on December 13th without normalization. Approximately five lakh candidates are expected to take the exam.
