**HYDERABAD, December 9, 2024** – Telangana’s Drugs Control Administration (DCA) conducted a raid on Kranthi Medical and General Stores in Hanamkonda district, uncovering a significant stash of illegally stocked physician’s samples. The raid, conducted on December 9th, resulted in the seizure of goods valued at ₹1 lakh (approximately $12,000 USD), including 65 varieties of physician samples and six expired drugs.

Physician samples, provided by pharmaceutical companies for doctors to distribute freely to patients, are strictly prohibited from sale. DCA officials confirmed that a full investigation is underway, and legal action will be taken against those responsible for the illegal activity.
