**Dhaka, December 9, 2024** – A new case has been filed against Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das, already imprisoned on sedition charges, following a clash between his followers and police. The incident, which occurred on November 26th at a Chittagong court, resulted in injuries to a businessman, Enamul Haque, who filed the complaint. Haque alleges he was assaulted by Das’s supporters for his attire.
The case names Das as the prime accused, along with 164 identified individuals and hundreds more unidentified.
