**Panipat, Haryana:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana in Haryana today. This initiative aims to empower women by providing them with training and employment opportunities as LIC insurance agents.
The scheme is open to women aged 18-70. Participants will receive three years of training, learning how to effectively explain the importance of insurance. Financial assistance will be provided during this training period. Upon completion, trainees will be employed as LIC agents.
The program is part of the government’s broader effort to promote women’s financial independence. Tight security measures are in place at the airport ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival for the launch event.
