**NEW DELHI:** The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its second list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, featuring several prominent defections and significant shifts in existing candidates’ constituencies. The list includes three candidates who have recently joined the party from other political parties.
Notable changes include:
* **Timarpur:** Incumbent MLA Dilip Pandey has been replaced by Surender Pal Singh Bittu, a former Congress member.
* **Patel Nagar:** Pravesh Ratan, formerly with the BJP, will contest from this seat.
* **Patparganj:** Awadh Ojha will contest in place of Manish Sisodia, who will now contest from Jangpura.
* **Several sitting MLAs have been shifted to different constituencies.** This includes changes for the seats of Madipur, Janakpuri, and Adarsh Nagar. Mukesh Goyal, a councilor, will contest from Adarsh Nagar, replacing Pawan Sharma. Deputy Speaker Rakhi Birla will contest from Madipur instead of Mongolpuri.
The second list also includes several new candidates for various constituencies across Delhi.
The AAP had previously released a list of 11 candidates. This second list brings the total number of declared candidates significantly higher. The party is aiming for a repeat victory in the upcoming elections.
