**Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir:** National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has strongly condemned the escalating attacks on minorities in Bangladesh and Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PoK), accusing the central government of remaining silent on the issue. He stated that the violence against religious minorities is unacceptable and that all faiths deserve respect. Abdullah criticized the lack of concrete action from the central government, calling for a stronger response to human rights violations in neighboring countries.

Abdullah further extended his condemnation to include attacks against Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, citing instances of mosque demolitions and home destruction. He described the situation as grave and criticized both the central and state governments for their handling of the matter. He emphasized that targeting any religious community is wrong and urged the government to take stringent action to prevent such incidents.

The statement comes amidst a rise in violence against minorities in Bangladesh and PoK, including attacks on temples and homes, and escalating communal tensions. Abdullah’s comments highlight growing concerns over the safety and rights of religious minorities both within India and in neighboring countries.
