**MYSURU, December 8, 2024** – The Mandya district administration is implementing stringent security measures for the upcoming Hanuman Maladharane event and procession, scheduled for December 15th. Organized by the Hindu Jagarana Vedike, the procession will travel from Ganjam to Moodalabagilu Hanuman temple.

District officials held a meeting with representatives from both Hindu and Muslim communities to ensure a peaceful event. Deputy Commissioner Kumara and Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi emphasized zero tolerance for lawbreaking, warning that those who incite violence will face prosecution.

Security will be significantly boosted, utilizing CCTV cameras, drones, and additional police personnel from other districts. Authorities are also monitoring social media for potentially inflammatory content. Organizers have been instructed to obtain permission for banners and to refrain from using slogans that could offend other religious groups. The Muslim community expressed concerns about incendiary speeches, urging the administration to prevent them. Organizers anticipate around 5,000 participants from Mysuru, Mandya, and surrounding areas. Preparatory rituals for the event began Friday at the Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple.
