**NEW YORK** – Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN analyst Randy Moss is taking an extended leave of absence from “Sunday NFL Countdown” to address a personal health issue, the network announced Friday.

Moss, 47, revealed his health challenge in an Instagram post Sunday, urging men to prioritize regular checkups and bloodwork. While he didn’t specify his condition, he stated he was dealing with an internal issue and asked for prayers. He alluded to comments about his appearance, saying, “People were talking about my eyes last week… I’m battling something, man, and it’s something internal.”

ESPN expressed its full support for Moss, praising his nearly decade-long contribution to “Sunday NFL Countdown” and stating they look forward to his return. The network described Moss as an “invaluable member of the team.”
