**Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh (December 7, 2024):** Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) affairs, Kondapalli Srinivas, pledged Saturday to enhance facilities in government schools to ensure students achieve academic results comparable to those in private schools. Speaking at a mega parent-teacher meeting at Kumaram ZP High School in Vizianagaram district, the Minister highlighted the selection of 19 students from the school for a five-year course at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT). He presented merit certificates to high-achieving students and praised the teachers for their contribution to the school’s improved performance during the 2023-24 academic year. Minister Srinivas credited the current government’s focus on school improvements for these successes. Vizianagaram Collector B. R. Ambedkar added that teacher training programs are underway to improve teaching and communication skills, with a particular focus on preparing Class X students for their examinations.
