**Hyderabad, December 7, 2024** – The Telangana government announced the appointment of Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani as the new Vice Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU). Prof. Chakrapani, a former chairman of the Telangana Public Service Commission and a long-time associate of BRAOU, will serve a three-year term. He has a distinguished career spanning three decades at the university, contributing significantly to teaching, research, staff training, and curriculum development. The appointment was confirmed in an order issued by Principal Secretary (Education) N. Sridhar.
