The election involves 71 class representatives who will vote for three student representatives. A list of eligible voters is available on the university website. Candidates can be undergraduate, postgraduate, or research students, adhering to UGC guidelines, including age limits (17-22 for undergraduates, 22-25 for postgraduates, and under 28 for research students), 75% attendance, and no legal issues or academic backlogs. At least one of the three elected representatives must be a female student; if only one female student applies, she will be declared the winner.
