**Patna, Bihar:** Khan Sir, a renowned coaching institute director and popular YouTube educator from Bihar, has been hospitalized in Patna’s Prabhat Memorial Hospital. His hospitalization follows a seven-hour-long protest on Friday alongside BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) aspirants who were demonstrating against a lathi charge.
According to reports, Khan Sir, who also participated in the protest, is suffering from dehydration, fever, and weakness. While initial reports suggested his arrest, police later clarified that he was not apprehended. However, the stress of the day and the protest is believed to have contributed to his deteriorating health.
Khan Sir has been admitted to the special care unit and is receiving oxygen support and glucose. Doctors have confirmed that dehydration and high fever are the primary concerns, and further tests are underway. News18 reports indicate he will remain hospitalized overnight, with a possible discharge on Sunday if his condition improves.
Meanwhile, Khan Sir’s troubles may not be over. An FIR has been registered against his coaching institute’s official Twitter handle at the Gardanibagh police station. The police allege that the handle spread misinformation regarding Khan Sir’s arrest and posted inflammatory content inciting violence and unrest among the aspirants. DSP Anu Kumari stated that an investigation is underway and strict action will be taken. A large number of students and fans have gathered at the hospital since news of his illness broke.
