**Nizamabad, Telangana:** The Telangana state government, through the Telangana Sports Authority, has announced the commencement of the CM Cup 2024, a statewide sports competition. The event will kick off in Nizamabad district with village-level competitions from December 7th to 8th.

According to J. Muttanna, the District Youth and Sports Officer of Nizamabad, the games will include athletics, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, and yoga. Winners from the village-level competitions will advance to the mandal (block) level, followed by municipal and district-level competitions. The district-level event will run from December 16th to 21st. Finally, the state-level competition will be held in Hyderabad from December 27th to January 2nd.

Aspiring athletes are required to register online at http://www.cmcup2024.telangana.gov.in. Registration requires uploading age proof, 10th-class mark sheet, and Aadhaar card.
