**Bengaluru, December 6, 2024** – Ramaiah Evolute (RE) announced the winners of its 2024 Start-up Awards on Thursday, investing up to $1 million in pre-seed and seed funding for ten promising startups. The awards ceremony, held at the Ramaiah Institute of Technology campus, focused on deep tech, sustainability, and scalable impact ventures.
Prashanth Prakash, founding partner of Accel India, presented the awards and predicted a surge in Indian Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) for startups, with 25 to 30 expected by 2025. Samartha Nagabhusanam, co-founder of Ramaiah Evolute, highlighted the potential of India’s startup ecosystem, projecting it to generate over $1 trillion in global value by 2030.
