**Amritsar, Punjab:** A Punjab Police ASI, Jasbir Singh, prevented a potential assassination attempt on former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Wednesday. Badal, who was visiting the temple in civilian clothes, was targeted by an unidentified assailant who opened fire.
