**New Delhi, December 5, 2024** – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination. Candidates can now access their results via the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. Three separate result lists have been released, categorized by post: Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Statistical Investigator Grade-II (SI), and all other posts.

The Tier 1 exam, held from September 9th to 24th, 2024, saw a large number of applicants vying for 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ vacancies within the central government. The provisional answer key was released on October 3rd, with an objection window closing on October 8th. A total of 43 candidates’ results were not processed due to debarment or cancelled candidature, while 146 results are withheld pending court orders. Marks have been normalized due to the exam being conducted in multiple shifts.

The passing percentage is 30% for unreserved candidates, 25% for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20% for all other categories. Tier 2 examinations are scheduled for January 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2025. Further details regarding Document Verification (DV) will be announced after the final results are published. Candidates can access their results using their roll numbers.
