**Hyderabad, India** – Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala officially tied the knot in a private ceremony held at the Akkineni family’s Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad today. The intimate wedding, steeped in Telugu tradition, was attended by a select group of family and close friends, including prominent figures from the Telugu film industry such as NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Upasana Konidela, Mahesh Babu, and Namrata Shirodkar.

Dhulipala, radiant in a traditional gold puttu cheera sari adorned with real gold zari and maximalist jewelry, honored her heritage with a stunning bridal look. Her ensemble included a basikam (forehead thread), maathapatti, bullaki (septum nose pin), tiered gold necklaces, jhumkas, kadhas, and a bajubandh. Her makeup was soft and natural, accentuating the gold jewelry, and her hair was styled in a classic braid with gold ornaments and gajra.

Chaitanya complemented his bride in a traditional white madhuparkham pancha with a bold red border and kurta, also featuring a ceremonial basikam.

Nagarjuna Akkineni, Chaitanya’s father, expressed his joy on X (formerly Twitter), calling the event “a special and emotional moment,” further noting the significance of the ceremony taking place under the statue of his late father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, in celebration of his centenary year.

Dhulipala’s commitment to tradition was evident throughout her wedding festivities, with her choice of traditional six-yard sarees for pre-wedding events also reflecting her deep-rooted cultural pride.
