Thu Dec 05 17:28:29 UTC 2024: ## Goalless Draw Leaves Both Mumbai City and Odisha FC Disappointed

**Bhubaneswar, December 5, 2024** – Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC battled to a frustrating 0-0 draw in their Indian Super League (ISL) clash at Kalinga Stadium on Thursday. Despite numerous goal-scoring opportunities for both sides, neither team could find the back of the net, leaving both disappointed with a point apiece.

The match saw several close calls, most notably a late effort by Mumbai City’s Lallianzuala Chhangte, whose powerful shot was spectacularly saved by Odisha captain Amrinder Singh. Odisha dominated early, with Diego Mauricio testing Mumbai City’s defense with a long-range shot in the ninth minute.

Mumbai City increased their pressure in the second half, creating several chances. Vikram Partap Singh and Nikolaos Karelis combined well inside the box, only for Amrinder to deny Karelis’ shot. Jeremy Manzorro also tested Amrinder’s reflexes with a fierce strike. A clever through ball from Manzorro found Jayesh Rane, but again, Amrinder proved unbeatable.

Despite late substitutions and continued efforts from both sides, the deadlock remained unbroken. The draw leaves Odisha FC in fourth place with 16 points from 11 games, while Mumbai City FC sits eighth with 14 points from 10 matches. This marks Odisha’s first scoreless home game in 10 matches.

Odisha FC will next face East Bengal on December 12th, and Mumbai City FC will play Mohammedan Sporting on December 15th.
