**Ranchi:** The BJP in Jharkhand has strongly criticized the release of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination results, calling it a “cruel joke” with the future of students. State spokesperson Ajay Sah accused the Hemant Soren government of negligence and arrogance, stating that the government’s actions demonstrate a lack of sensitivity towards students and youth despite receiving a strong mandate. Sah further criticized the government for releasing the results without a proper investigation, despite earlier promises of an impartial inquiry.
Sah also alluded to a viral message circulating before the results were released, which allegedly mentioned two specific roll numbers that later appeared in the results. While not confirming the message’s authenticity, Sah emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into all related facts, given the gravity of the situation affecting millions of students.
The BJP argues that releasing the results while a court case was pending is unconstitutional and violates students’ rights. They further suggest the timing of the release, coinciding with cabinet expansion, is suspicious. The party has vowed to raise this issue in the state assembly.
