**Mumbai, December 4, 2024** – The General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) has announced the recruitment of 110 Assistant Managers (Scale 1 Officer), opening applications today, December 4th. Aspiring graduates and postgraduates have until December 19th to apply online through the GIC website, gicre.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies across various departments. Selected candidates will receive a starting monthly salary of Rs 50,925.

Applicants must hold a graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). Age limits are 21 to 30 years as of November 1st, 2024, with relaxations for reserved categories.

The selection process involves a written examination tentatively scheduled for January 5th, 2025 (admit cards will be released a week prior), followed by an interview, group discussion, and medical evaluation.
