NEW DELHI (December 5, 2024) – Lieutenant-Governor V.K. Saxena distributed offer letters to 1,669 newly recruited Home Guards (HGs) in Delhi on Wednesday. The appointees were selected through a formal recruitment process, with 19% having prior experience as Civil Defence Volunteers (CDVs). A significant number of the new recruits, 181, are women.
