**Kozhikode, Kerala – December 5, 2024** – T.A. Ahammed Kabeer, former Mankada MLA of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), has been selected as the recipient of the Syed Abdurrahman Bafaqi Thangal Memorial Award. The award, presented by the Koyilandy Assembly constituency branch of the Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre, Dubai, recognizes Kabeer’s contributions to upholding the ideals of Thangal.
The announcement was made Wednesday by MLA M.K. Muneer, chairperson of the award jury. The award, which includes a ₹1 lakh cash prize, will be conferred upon Kabeer in Dubai on January 19, 2025.
