**Ranchi, Jharkhand:** The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) announced the results for its Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2023 on Wednesday evening. A merit list containing the names of 2231 successful candidates has been published. Document verification for the selected candidates will be held from December 16th to 20th at the commission’s office in Namkum.
The CGLE exam was conducted on September 21st and 22nd. Following the exam, several candidates alleged irregularities and protested, submitting pen drives, CDs, and hard copies as evidence to the JSSC. While the commission dismissed these allegations, candidates filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court. However, the High Court did not issue a stay order on the result announcement.
In a significant development, the JSSC has revised the final answer key, nullifying 11 questions due to all options being deemed incorrect. These questions are distributed across four languages: four from the first paper, one in Khortha from the second paper, five in Santhali, and four in Kurukh. The results are now final, despite earlier controversies.
