**Hyderabad, December 4** – Telugu actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were married today in a private ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The wedding, taking place in front of a statue of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, was attended by a select group of close family and friends, eschewing a large, public celebration.
Despite the intimate nature of the event, several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry were reportedly in attendance. This included family members of both the bride and groom, along with prominent actors such as Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, and Allu Arjun. Leading directors Rajamouli and Sukumar were also present.
The couple, who got engaged in August, had kept details of their wedding largely private until recently. Following a traditional pre-wedding ceremony last month, the date was finally confirmed. Chaitanya’s father, veteran actor Nagarjuna, confirmed the couple’s wishes for a simple ceremony, stating that he delegated the planning to them to alleviate stress.
Rumors circulated earlier suggesting Netflix had acquired the rights to broadcast the wedding for a reported sum of 50 crore rupees. However, these claims were strongly denied by Chaitanya. This intimate wedding concludes months of speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship and engagement.
