This marks the fourth consecutive draw between the two players. Both players have 3.5 points after seven rounds, leaving them four points shy of the 7.5 points needed to win the 14-game championship. The game, lasting 72 moves, was agreed to a draw. This is the fifth draw of the match. Liren, 32, won the first game, while 18-year-old Gukesh won the third. Games two, four, five, and six also ended in draws.
