**New York, NY** – Epic Games has unleashed Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, “Demon Hunters,” bringing a wave of new content to the popular battle royale game. The season introduces a Japan-themed map featuring new points of interest, a return to hitscan functionality for all weapons, and a host of exciting new gameplay mechanics.

The biggest change for players is the return to hitscan, eliminating bullet drop and simplifying ranged combat. This is accompanied by an arsenal of new weapons, including several detailed in the official release. A new melee weapon, the Typhoon Blade, boosts sprint speed and stamina.

Players can also acquire powerful Oni masks – the Fire Oni Mask, which fires homing projectiles, and the Void Oni Mask, offering short-range teleportation. These masks add a strategic element to combat.

The Rogue Bike motorcycle and Void Burn car also make a comeback. The update is rounded off with the arrival of a themed map, featuring a redesign incorporating Japanese aesthetics and demon-themed elements.
