**Hyderabad, India** – Two-time Olympic medalist and renowned badminton player PV Sindhu is set to marry Venkat Dattasai on December 22nd in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, confirmed the news, stating that while the families have known each other for some time, the engagement took place only a month ago. December was chosen for the wedding to accommodate Sindhu’s busy badminton schedule, which resumes in January. A reception will follow in Hyderabad on December 24th.

Dattasai is the Executive Director of Posidex Technologies, a company whose new logo Sindhu launched last month. His father, G.T. Venkateswara Rao, is the Managing Director of the same firm and a former Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. Dattasai’s career includes stints at JSW and Solar Apple Asset Management, before joining Posidex Technologies in December 2019. His work involves developing solutions for major banks like HDFC and ICICI, focusing on areas like faster loan processing and credit score matching.
