**Washington D.C.** – OpenAI CEO Sam Altman expressed optimism Sunday that President-elect Donald Trump’s administration will prioritize artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure development, ensuring US global leadership in the field. In an interview with Fox News, Altman highlighted the significant infrastructure needs of AI, including massive energy consumption, advanced data centers, and access to cutting-edge semiconductors. He believes Trump is well-suited to deliver the necessary support.
