**Barcelona, December 3, 2023** – FC Barcelona today reaffirmed its dedication to accessibility and inclusion on the International Day of People with Disabilities, highlighting a series of initiatives implemented throughout the year. The club’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department has spearheaded efforts to ensure all fans, regardless of physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities, can fully enjoy the Barça experience.

Key improvements include the introduction of inclusive mannequins in official stores, showcasing diverse body types and abilities. The Palau Blaugrana has added seven new wheelchair-accessible seats, each with an accompanying seat, and a new online ticketing system simplifies purchasing accessible tickets across all facilities.

The Barça Immersive Tour now offers enhanced accessibility for the visually and hearing impaired, featuring a magnetic loop, multilingual audio guides with subtitles, and noise-canceling headphones for children with autism or sensory sensitivities. The Barça Museum has launched “Hores + Tranquil·les,” quieter hours with reduced sensory stimulation for visitors with autism or intellectual disabilities, alongside specialized staff training.

Further improvements include subtitling the Barça anthem on stadium scoreboards, digital accessibility audits and employee training, and a partnership with ONCE (the Spanish National Organization of the Blind) to promote accessibility at the new Spotify Camp Nou. The club celebrated International Week of People with Deafness and International Day of Sign Language with various events, including sign language performances and the inclusion of deaf children at a stadium event. A sensory relief painting of the club mascot was presented to blind children at the club’s 125th-anniversary gala, and the gala’s live broadcast included subtitles and sign language interpretation.

FC Barcelona emphasized its ongoing commitment to setting new standards in accessibility and inclusion, making both physical and digital spaces welcoming and accessible to all.
