**NEW DELHI** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the city slip for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 exam. Candidates can access their city slips on the official website, ctet.nic.in. The exam is scheduled for December 14th, 2024, with a possible extension to December 15th if needed. The exam will be held across 136 cities in India and comprises two papers: Paper 1 for classes 1-5 and Paper 2 for classes 6-8. Admit cards will be released a week before the exam. The application process ran from September 17th to October 16th, 2024.

In other news, Avadh Oja, a popular UPSC coaching teacher known for his distinctive gamchha (towel) headdress, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He was welcomed into the party by Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. Oja previously sought Lok Sabha tickets from the BJP and Congress.

Finally, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced the date for JEE Advanced 2025. The exam will be held on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, in two shifts. Students who passed their 12th-grade exams in 2023 are not eligible.
