Wed Dec 04 05:58:42 UTC 2024: ## IIM Calcutta Releases CAT 2024 Provisional Answer Key; Objection Window Opens

**New Delhi, December 3, 2024** – The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Calcutta released the provisional answer key for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on Tuesday. Candidates who appeared for the exam on November 24th can now download the key from the official IIM CAT website, iimcat.ac.in.

The exam, held in three sessions across 170 cities nationwide, saw candidates taking the test from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Simultaneously with the answer key release, a window for submitting objections opened at 6 PM on December 3rd and will remain open until 11:55 PM on December 5th. Candidates can raise objections using their CAT application login ID and password via the Objection Management link on the website. A processing fee is required for each objection.

The final answer key will be released after IIM Calcutta reviews the submitted objections. CAT 2024 scores will be valid until December 31, 2025. Results are expected to be declared by the second week of January 2025. Shortlisted candidates will receive interview letters directly from the respective IIMs. Further information on the admission process can be found on individual IIM websites.
