**Mumbai, India** – Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd announced a price increase for its popular Aprilia RS457 motorcycle, effective January 2025. The entry-level sports bike will see a ₹10,000 increase, bringing its ex-showroom price in Maharashtra to ₹4.20 lakh.

The company cited strong demand and the high-quality components used in the bike’s manufacture as reasons for the price adjustment. Ajay Raghuvanshi, EVP, 2-Wheeler Domestic Business, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, expressed gratitude for the bike’s positive reception since its launch. He also highlighted the company’s focus on expanding its network and enhancing after-sales service.

However, customers still have time to snag the bike at the lower price. Current year-end promotions offer a ₹5,000 discount in December, meaning buyers can effectively save up to ₹15,000 before the price hike takes effect. The company encourages interested buyers to visit their nearest dealership before the end of December 2024. The Aprilia RS457 is available in three colors: Prismatic Dark, Opalescent Light, and Racing Stripes.
