Jalna, Maharashtra – A man climbed a mobile tower on Wednesday and threatened suicide to demand that Shivendraraje Bhosale be appointed to a cabinet position in the state government. Sadashiv Dhakan, an employee from Jalna district, gave the coalition government, including leaders Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar, a four-hour ultimatum to fulfill his demand, claiming it was essential to uphold the dignity of the Chhatrapati family.
After four hours of negotiations, Lok Sabha MP Udayanraje Bhosale intervened and convinced Dhakan to climb down. Udayanraje contacted Dhakan, urging him to reconsider and emphasizing the value of his life and the impact on his family. Following a heartfelt plea invoking the oath of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dhakan eventually descended from the tower. The incident occurred on the Rajur-Tembhurni road.
