**Satara:** A man climbed a mobile tower in Jalna district on Wednesday, threatening suicide unless Shivendraraje Bhosale, a member of the Chhatrapati family, is appointed to the Maharashtra cabinet. The man, identified as Sadashiv Dhakan, gave the ruling alliance four hours to fulfill his demand. He appealed to leaders like Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar to uphold the dignity of the Chhatrapati family.
Upon learning of the incident, MP Udayanraje Bhosale contacted Dhakan by phone. Udayanraje pleaded with Dhakan, urging him to reconsider his actions and emphasizing the value of his life. He reportedly swore on the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, convincing Dhakan to climb down safely. Dhakan eventually heeded the appeal and descended from the tower. The incident concluded without any injuries.
