**NEW DELHI** – Skoda Auto India has officially released the pricing for its highly anticipated Kylaq sub-4-meter SUV. The vehicle, priced between ₹7.89 lakh and ₹14.40 lakh (ex-showroom), will directly compete with established players like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300.
The Kylaq offers four trims – Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige – and is available in seven eye-catching colors. While competitively priced, sitting between the Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Suzuki Brezza in terms of base and top-end pricing, the Kylaq boasts a comprehensive feature list. This includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch digital cockpit, automatic climate control, LED headlamps, an electric sunroof, cruise control, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Unique to its segment are ventilated, six-way electrically adjustable front seats.
Safety features include six airbags and Hill-hold control. Powering the Kylaq is a 1.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine producing 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Skoda is positioning the Kylaq as a strong contender in a fiercely competitive market segment, offering a compelling blend of features, technology, and price.
