**London, UK (December 2, 2024)** – Shiba Inu’s collectible card game, Shiba Eternity, has launched Tournament V, a four-day competition offering players a chance to win 500 BONE tokens and valuable SHIFU airdrop points. The announcement was made yesterday by Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama on X.
The tournament, running from November 29th to December 2nd, is being held on the Web3 version of Shiba Eternity, aimed at boosting engagement ahead of the mainnet launch. Players will compete for a share of the 500 BONE prize pool, while also earning points towards the SHIFU airdrop. SHIFU is a new cryptocurrency from Play With Shib, Shiba Inu’s gaming arm, and part of a partner airdrop initiative with Imaginary Ones designed to grow the Play-to-Earn (P2E) ecosystem.
This latest tournament follows the October 31st launch of Shiba Eternity’s open beta, which introduced new cards, strategies, and NFT-based trading of in-game assets. Previous tournaments, such as the 15-Day Web 3 tournament, have already proven successful in driving player engagement.
While a mainnet launch date for Shiba Eternity remains unannounced, Tournament V demonstrates the ongoing commitment to building a thriving and rewarding gaming experience within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
