**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Royal Enfield has commenced deliveries of its highly anticipated Bear 650 scrambler motorcycle, launched earlier this month at a price range of ₹3.39 lakh to ₹3.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bear 650, the fifth motorcycle in Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform lineup, joins the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, and Shotgun 650.
Built on a strengthened version of the Interceptor 650’s chassis, the Bear 650 boasts a neo-retro scrambler design with a commanding tall stance (830mm seat height, 184mm ground clearance). Showa USD forks and dual rear springs provide suspension, while braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.
Power comes from the familiar 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, also found in the Interceptor 650, producing 46.8bhp and an increased torque output of 56.4 Nm. A six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch completes the drivetrain.
Designed for both on and off-road adventures, the Bear 650 represents Royal Enfield’s continued expansion in the mid-capacity adventure segment.
