**New Delhi, December 3, 2024** – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday accused the Delhi Police of inaction in the case of two brothers murdered six months apart in Naraina, Delhi. He claimed the family had sought police protection after the first murder but received no response, leaving them at the “mercy of gangsters.”
Kejriwal visited the bereaved family and alleges that local residents identified five to six individuals responsible for the criminal activity in the area, yet the police failed to intervene. He further stated that when the family protested on Sunday, they were allegedly lathi-charged by the police.
The BJP, which previously accused Kejriwal of deflecting attention from AAP government failures, has not yet responded to these allegations. The incident highlights concerns about law and order in the area and raises questions about the effectiveness of the Delhi Police.
