**Madurai, December 2, 2024** – A 50-year-old differently-abled man, K. Ramiah, died in a road accident on Sunday at the Sithathipuram burial ground near the Thenkarai canal in Madurai. Ramiah, who lost a leg in an accident five years ago, was riding a two-wheeler with his wife, R. Subbulakshmi, when they veered into a roadside canal. Ramiah was killed instantly, while his wife sustained serious injuries. Kadupatti police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
