AMARAVATI, INDIA – Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu honored Unnam Naveen Kumar, an NRI from Sweden, for his five-month-long contribution to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)’s recent election campaign. Naveen Kumar worked extensively on the ground in several constituencies, reportedly contacting nearly 1800 influential people.
Naidu invited Naveen Kumar to his Undavalli residence on Monday and spent the entire day with him, praising his selfless dedication to the state’s future. The Chief Minister’s interaction included participation in several review meetings.
Naveen Kumar’s work was part of a larger effort by the TDP’s NRI wing, which mobilized a significant number of overseas Andhra Pradesh residents to support the party’s campaign. He focused his efforts in the Kuppam, Srikalahasti, Sullurpeta, and Chandragiri constituencies.
According to Vemuri Ravi, president of the TDP’s NRI wing, this gesture fulfilled a prior promise to reward NRI volunteers who demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance with a “Day with CBN” (Chief Minister Naidu).
