**New Delhi, December 3, 2024** – The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have released the answer key for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 examination today. Candidates can access and download the answer key from the official website, iimcat.ac.in. A window for objections will remain open until 11:55 PM on December 5th.
The CAT exam, held on November 24th, saw a participation of approximately 2.93 lakh candidates out of 3.29 lakh registered, representing an 89% turnout. This included 1.07 lakh female candidates, 1.86 lakh male candidates, and 5 transgender candidates.
The final answer key, incorporating any changes based on verified objections from subject matter experts, will be used to prepare and announce the results. Results are expected to be released in the second week of January 2025. The CAT score is accepted by 21 IIMs and over 1000 other MBA institutes, including prominent non-IIM B-schools like AMS Delhi, SJMSoM IIT Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, DoMS IIT Delhi, and SPJIMR Mumbai. Registration for CAT 2024 was open from August 1st to September 20th, 2024.
