**Hyderabad:** Kerala clinched the Sayyid Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 title after a rain-curtailed final against Goa. The match, reduced to 13 overs a side due to intermittent showers, saw Kerala post 143/6 in their allotted overs. Goa, in reply, were 69/2 in 7.5 overs when rain forced another interruption, ultimately ending the match prematurely. Under the Duckworth-Lewis method, Kerala were declared the winners by 11 runs.

Ishaan Gadekar provided a blistering start for Goa, smashing 45 runs (including 4 fours and 3 sixes) off 22 balls before the second rain interruption. Suyash Prabhudesai remained unbeaten on 9. Goa lost two early wickets, those of Azan Thoth (5) and Kashyap Bakale (5).

Kerala’s innings was spearheaded by captain Sanju Samson (31 off 15 balls, with 4 fours and 2 sixes) and Salman Nizar (34 off 20 balls, with 3 fours and a six), the latter topping the Kerala scorecard.
